This year's festival will be the creation of three communities—Round Hill, Hillsboro and Bluemont—working together to put on our celebration of the Appalachian Trail and all the Great Outdoors. If you've been to our past A.T. festivals, you can expect your faves: great tunes, talks, tastes and all the rest. If you're new to the festival, we guarantee a good time. Back by popular demand, we welcome three returning bands to The Gap Stage during festival hours: The Short Hill Mountain Boys, Justin Trawick & The Common Good and Frank Solivan & Jillian Lea. (Check back to see who will take the stage in the post-fest evening hours!) Once again, we'll have something for everyone. Kids (of all ages) can enjoy complimentary nature crafts, climb a rock wall, ride a pony and have fun on our mega-slide. Hikers can hear tales from the Trail. Gardeners can consult with Master Naturalist and Gardeners, then pick out native plants to bring home from Yellow House Natives. Also in store, just about everything from A to Z (or close): art, beeswax wraps, ceramics, drinks, earrings, festival T-shirts, gear, hickory syrup, ice cream, jewelry... Please save the date: June 8, 2024.

Steven, thanks for your interest. While we don't have our speakers' schedule set yet, I can assure you that we'll have a lot of experienced thru hikers at the festival--and we can put you in contact with them. (Please use the "contact" page to set this up.) Plus, we bring as many current thru hikers who want to join us to the festival. They would be great to talk to. Happy hiking!
