TOASTING THE TRAIL
Following 2,190 miles of mountain ridge lines, the Appalachian National Scenic Trail (A.T.) crosses 14 states, from Georgia to Maine. It's the longest and oldest marked footpath in the country—and here in Western Loudoun, VA, we're lucky enough to have the A.T. right in our backyard.
June 7, 2025, we'll hold our sixth annual celebration of the A.T. (and all the Great Outdoors) in Hillsboro, Virginia with three A.T. Communities teaming up to host: Bluemont, Hillsboro and Round Hill, VA. Please join us at the Old Stone School grounds in Hillsboro (37098 Charles Town Pike) from 11am to 5pm. Some 2,000 of you joined us in June 2024 to enjoy our live music, listen to our hiking experts, try your hand at nature crafts, tour a nature-inspired art show, climb our rock wall — and more. A.T. thru hikers joined us for lunch, with some sticking around to camp out before heading back to the Trail. We'll do all this—and more—on June 7th, 2025. Please get in touch if you want to get involved. |
