Happy Thanksgiving!

Here, in Blue Ridge country, we have so much to be grateful for today—and every day. So, our thanks go out to:

  • Appalachian Trail Conservancy for protecting and promoting all the Appalachian Trail.
  • The A.T. Communities of Round Hill, Hillsboro and Bluemont who have committed their towns to being friends of the Trail and its hikers.
  • Potomac Appalachian Trail Club that maintains so many miles of trails and makes them accessible to so many hikers.
  • Friends of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Old Dominion Land Conservancy and Hillsboro Preservation Foundation who not only work to preserve our green spaces, they support the Loudoun A.T. Festival.
  • Companies who support our festival because they share our love of the outdoors, including Meadows Farms, Warm Peet, Adventures in Good Company and Bank of Clarke.
  • Our friends at Visit Loudoun, who have rooted for, promoted and supported this community celebration.
  • All the eco-minded nonprofits who have shared their missions at our festivals.
  • All the businesses who donated to our wildly popular raffle.
  • Big Country Amusements who has donated use of their big, inflatable slide each year for festival fun.
  • Dan Innamorato who has donated his time and skills to document all of our festivals.
  • Artist Jill Jensen, who continues to let us use her images, including the Blue Ridge scene at the start of this blog!
  • All the volunteers who have made this festival possible over the years.
  • And all the thousands of nature-loving people who have joined us since 2019 to celebrate the A.T. and all the Great Outdoors.

A deep thanks to you all.
